Welcome to the Minnesota Pest Management Association
The Minnesota Pest Management Association (MPMA) is the voice of the structural pest management industry in Minnesota. With over 200 companies and over 1000 licensed and certified applicators in the state, MPMA is the sole association advocating for the industry, including its member companies, vendor partners, and associate members. MPMA is dedicated to promoting professionalism within the industry and works closely with state regulators, such as the Department of Agriculture, while also educating state legislators about the industry's role in safeguarding public health and well-being in Minnesota.
What are the advantages of pest control?
Pests sting, bite, contaminate food, damage property, spark fires, and spread disease. That’s why Pest Management Professionals (PMPs) play a vital role in protecting your health, family, property, and the environment.
PMPs don’t just react—we prevent. Through a combination of inspection, monitoring, communication, and environmental awareness, PMPs will resolve and avert pest infestations in and around your structures. Our approach includes social engineering, exclusion, and sanitation, whether performed by the PMP or in collaboration with you or others.
We hear your concerns about pests. When control measures are necessary, PMPs rely on a variety of tools like traps, sensors, and other technologies designed to reduce pesticide use. When pesticides are needed, we prioritize targeted applications and lower-impact materials that align with modern safety and environmental standards.
